Tips for female CEOs who are passionate about helping other women advance their lives through their unique expertise.
Get out the tequila and pour yourself a spicy margarita because I’m chatting about one of the fastest growing social media platforms that will give your business a *MAJOR* boost and leg up on your competition.
I’m talking about a floodgate of followers, leads, and paydays.
Within its first year of launching, Clubhouse reached over 6 million users—more than Twitter, Facebook, and Snapchat had in their first 12 months combined.
How’s that for a mind-blowing stat?
Since its inception, Clubhouse has rapidly gained popularity. And I’m willing to bet a day hasn’t gone by over the last few months that you haven’t seen or heard someone talking about it. That is unless you’ve been living cell-phone free, laying on the beaches of the Grand Cayman…. *sign me up, please*
But with all of its hype, you may be wondering, “What is Clubhouse?” or “How the heck can I utilize it for my business?”
Luckily, I’ve been able to get my hands—and ears—on the new app, so I’m giving you alllll the details you need to know to navigate it like a pro and reap its business-boosting benefits.
Clubhouse is an exclusive, invite-only audio-based platform where you can jump into—or host—different “rooms” to listen and engage with other users’ conversations. You can think of it as a podcast’s cooler, older sister because the discussions are entirely live (non-recordable), and, in many cases, you can interact with the moderators and hosts.
And aside from having 24/7 access to some of the best educational, informational, and entertaining content in the world (yup, I said it), you can quickly learn from the most prominent and most inspirational business leaders we know.
Imagine listening to (or even interacting with) Jenna Kutcher, Sarah Blakely, Jamie Lima, and Amy Porterfield dropping their golden nuggets of genius at the same time—for free. Pretty cool, right?
Since Clubhouse is still in beta mode, it’s only available to those with an iPhone and requires an invite to get access. With everyone and their mother trying to set-up an account, you’re probably thinking, how the heck do you get an invite.
I’m going to let you in on a little secret: It all comes down to networking.
When a new user joins Clubhouse, they get one invitation they can give out, and invites increase the more they are active on the platform. So if you want your golden ticket to Clubhouse, you need to talk to people in your circle—reach out to friends, post in Facebook groups, or join a Clubhouse invite train.
Beyond the opportunity to listen and engage with other users, Clubhouse can take your business from unknown to a lead-generating empire, but only if you use it to its full advantage. And if you think I’m exaggerating, then read about what this swimwear owner had to say:
“When I first joined, I entered a “room” dedicated to business growth. On the ‘stage’ were Grant Cardone, Tiffany Haddish, Jim Kwik, and several USA Shark Tank investors—people with millions of followers! Then, I asked and was granted access to the ‘stage’ with them.”
Tell me, what could connecting with those types of people do for your business? I’ll wait…
In addition to big-name business leaders and celebrities, Clubhouse is yet another platform to reach and engage with your ideal clients. And because it’s audio-based, you have the unique opportunity to establish authority in your field in the rawest and most authentic ways.
Now that you know the impact Clubhouse can have on your business, I’ve broken down a few tips you can implement to connect with your ideal clients and turn them into paying customers:
If you have lofty goals for 2021 (aaand I know you do), then I can’t recommend getting an invite to Clubhouse enough! While the app is still in its infancy, we already have proof it’s impacting businesses in a big way—increasing communities, generating leads, and creating more paydays than ever before.
And don’t worry; if you’re an Android user, your time will come soon. Get your Clubhouse strategy together now so you can come in guns blazing.
